Dwyane Wade Launches Wine Label Called 'Wade' on Chinese Tour
Jul 19, 2015
(BleacherReport) - Dwyane Wade is a cultured man, so it’s appropriate that he’s starting his own wine label.
The Miami Heat guard got super creative with the name, too, calling the brand—wait for it—“Wade.”
SI’s Extra Mustard has more on the launch, which took place during the All-Star’s fan tour in China: Wade hasn't disclosed the wine’s varietal, and it’s unclear if the wine is yet available for purchase. China produces the seventh-largest amount of wine of any country in the world, though, according to the International Organization of Vine and Wine. So Wade’s Chinese fans could be well-suited consumers.
He teased his latest venture a few days before it became official:
LeBron James, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony and D-Wade were recently pictured raising a toast with some red wine in an ultimate bro picture.
Since none of them were popping champagne after the Golden State Warriors won the NBA Finals, it’s possible they were drinking some "Wade."
