Warren G made the face of Allure Moscato
Aug 16, 2013
(TheDrinksBusiness) - Californian rapper-turned-producer Warren G has been made the face of Allure Moscato by the Bronco Wine Company.
Made from grapes grown in California, the three-strong range includes Allure Moscato, Allure Pink Moscato and Allure Peach Bubbly.
Warren G is poised to appear in the brand’s forthcoming print, radio, TV and social media campaign across the United States.
“Who would’ve known that my favorite Moscato, Allure, would ask me to be their brand partner?” the rapper tweeted yesterday on announcing the news.
“It’s exciting to be in the wine business and I know we can bring a lot of pleasure to our audience. I’m looking forward to sharing my favorite pink Moscato with everyone,” he added.
Bronco’s CEO, Fred Franzia, echoed the rapper’s sentiment: “We’re very pleased to be working with Warren G, who has the bright, lively style of Allure, and the same belief in top quality and value,” he said.
“I’m impressed by Warren G’s interest in wines,” he added.
With 120 years in the California wine business, the Franzia family is the largest vineyard owner in the US, while the Bronco Wine Company is the fifth largest winery in the US,
The Allure Moscato range is currently available in US retailers such as Whole Foods and Safeway.
The Bronco Wine Company previously hooked up with former NFL American football player Keyshawn Johnson on an Oregon Cabernet Sauvignon, XIX.
