(ANSA) - Italian wine exports continue to rise, up nearly 10% for the first three months of 2013 and bringing in 1.1 billion euros for producers, the winemakers' association Assoenologi said on Monday.

However, the volume of wine exported dipped slightly by 1.1%, the reported said.

Only sparkling wines showed an increase both in volume, up 13%, and in value, jumping by 19.7%, to 130 million euros.
