(OregonLive) - Oregon’s and Washington’s commercial wine industries stand to benefit tremendously by working cooperatively to promote their brands, a leading Washington wine executive says. Ted Baseler, president and CEO of Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, a wine-giant based in Woodinville, says the two states are already poised individually to make significant inroads into worldwide markets in the coming decade. But the success of those ventures will increase exponentially if the two states work in partnership to promote the Pacific Northwest and its reputation for producing great fruit, Baseler says.
