(TheLocal) - Plans to lift EU restrictions on the size and location of vineyards could pose a grave threat to German vintners, according to a report due to be published on Monday by Wirtschaftswoche business magazine. German wine producers fear that an increase in the number and size of vineyards could push them out of the market once new laws remove restrictions on the size, location and region of wine-growing operations.
