Rosé sold in plastic cup that was dismissed by Dragons’ Dean as ‘tacky’ has last laugh after winning wine Oscar

(DailyMail) - It was dismissed by the Dragons Den entrepreneurs as a novelty product without a future. However the company behind the ‘cup-a-wine’ concept – wine sold in plastic glasses with a tear off lid - has had the last laugh. First the product was snapped up by Marks & Spencer for its ‘Food on the Move’ section, proving a big hit with commuters and picnickers. And now the wine itself has won an award in the international wine ‘Oscars’.
