Maximilian Riedel, the 11th generation of famed Riedel glassmaker and CEO of Riedel Crystal America, likes to call those ‘joker glasses,’ and he has a point. We probably shouldn’t be sipping good wine from utilitarian vessels. Traveling the world, preaching the gospel of using proper stemware, Mr. Riedel is indeed a true believer.
