(Wines&Vines) - While figuring out wine distribution and compliance can be confusing to winery staff, those tasks are nothing compared to sorting out social media and its channels. During a recent talk in Napa, Karen Rice, the regional development director of Constant Contact, the popular email marketing service used by many small businesses including wineries, tried to simplify social media—and give some hints for using it. Her focus was Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, today’s most popular social media sites. “Start with Facebook,” she said, “71% of the U.S. population is using it.”
