(Harpers) - The Napa Valley is getting ready to kick off its 2012 harvest with winemakers describing it as “one of the most balanced crops in years”, thanks to the “marvellous growing season”. With the harvest forecast for around two weeks earlier than the past two years, the 430 wineries of the Napa Valley Vintners are predicting a “fabulous” and “epic” crop.
