(SBWIRE) - Tom Meadowcroft, winegrower and founder of Meadowcroft Wines announces longtime co-worker and winemaker Petar Kirilov to the position of Winemaker for the Meadowcroft, Thomas Henry and Foyt Family labels. Kirilov joined Meadowcroft Wines in 2008 as a winemaker to oversee the production of small lot wines. During the past four years, the winery has increased its annual production from 3,500 cases to 25,000 cases. “Petar Kirilov has a rare talent in the winemaking industry: to be able to assemble a series of different wines, while maintaining our excellent wine stylistic direction from vintage to vintage,” said Tom Meadowcroft. “Doing this with more than ten different wines is a very complex task and requires a high level of alchemy.”
