Motörhead adds beer to drinks portfolio

Jun 21, 2012

(Decanter) - Heavy metal legends Motörhead have launched Bastards Lager, adding to their portfolio of alcoholic beverages. Named after the band’s 1993 album, Bastards joins Motörhead Vodka and the recently-released Motörhead Shiraz. The lager is brewed by Krönleins in Sweden, and sells there exclusively, for SEK19.90 (£1.81). 'We think there are a lot of bands out there that would like an alcohol brand,’ said Sari Wilholm, co-founder of Sweden’s Brands for Fans, a specialist alcohol brand developer which also launched Slayer’s Reign in Blood, a California Cabernet Sauvignon.
