(Examiner) - Colorado may be called the red state for its rocky red bluffs, but a new hue is emerging, Cabernet Franc red. Governor Hickenlooper, the state's leading beer man, is the leading man in one of a series of television commercials touting the growing Colorado wine industry. "When you reach for a Colorado wine, make it from Colorado," Hickenlooper says in the advertisement, sponsored by the Colorado Wine Industry Development Board and produced by Local Winos Media and Godot Communications (see the video below). The advertisements also feature Dale Katechis, owner of Oskar Blues craft canned beer and brew pub restaurants (aka Dales Pale Ale) and Denver-legacy chef Frank Bonanno.
