O. Fournier offers 'dream' plots in Mendoza

Mar 29, 2012

(Decanter) - O. Fournier, the high-end Spanish-Chilean-Argentinian venture, has earmarked 140ha of vines in Mendoza to be sold to private individuals in small plots. O. Fournier Wine Partners, owner José Manuel Ortega says, is a project whereby one- to three-hectare plots, at Finca Santa Sofia in the Uco Valley 1,200m above sea level, are sold to a maximum of 85 investors. While the winery will look after every aspect of vineyard management and vinification, investors will ‘truly own the vineyard’, Ortega told Decanter.com.
