(Bizjournals) - Longtime wine and spirits distributor John Hooper has decided to get into the winemaking business, launching BNA Wine Group LLC, dedicated to "creating distinctive wines notable for taste and value," according to a news release. Hooper recently sold his former business, Tennessee Wine and Spirits, which his family founded in 1939, to start his new Nashville-based venture. Hooper has partnered with Little Lion Wine Company founder and winemaker Tony Leonardini and industry sales veteran Gary Carr.
