We have wine, food, arts and culture that some large cities might envy. We also have an invaluable, little-recognized asset: an uncommonly cooperative and educated wine industry. While wineries compete with each other for sales, they also cooperate for the common good in many ways, many under the tutelage of the Napa Valley Vintners, Napa Valley Grapegrowers and now the Napa Valley Destination Council.
