(Forbes) - Gary Vaynerchuk, best known as co-founder of Vaynermedia and author of “Crush It” and “The Thank-You Economy”, has joined HubSpot’s advisory board. HubSpot, which pioneered the concept of inbound marketing, provides an all-in-one marketing software platform that the company claims has helped more than 6,000 customers increase their web visits and lead conversion. In this role, Vaynerchuk will provide strategic guidance to HubSpot and be a pivotal asset to the company’s marketing education programs. He joins a very well-seasoned existing board, including Sequoia Capital General Partner Jim Goetz, Dropbox Founder and CEO Drew Houston, authors Chris Brogan and David Meerman Scott, as well as MIT Principal Research Scientist Andrew McAfee.
