Don't believe all you hear about wine
Jan 18, 2012
(USAToday) - In this new year, I thought it might be a worthwhile time to examine some myths about wine that seem to prevail despite a wealth of information to the contrary. The following statements represent persistent myths that we should examine and hopefully ignore in the upcoming year.Myth 1: The older the wine the better -- Not all wine improves with age. Some wine is as good as it is going to get when it is put into the bottle. That wine has no potential to age and therefore is meant for early consumption
