Leon Panetta was finally able to enjoy a rare $10,000 bottle of wine that his friend said he would uncork if the secretary of defense took out Osama Bin Laden.Last year, California restaurateur Ted Balestreri promised Panetta, then CIA director, a couple sips of the Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1870 if Panetta caught or killed the Al Qaeda leader, reports the L.A. Times. Upon Bin Laden’s death in May, Panetta called his wife and said, “Tell Ted to get ready to open that bottle.”
