US: Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board allows shipping of wine and liquor

Nov 30, 2011

(AP) - The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board says people can now have wine and liquor shipped to home and business addresses. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Tuesday that the change was quietly made last week. Previously, customers could order a specific wine or whiskey and pick it up only at a state-run store. Shipping fees will include a charge of $14 for an order of between one and three bottles and an additional dollar for each bottle beyond that. Shipments also will require a signature and a valid photo ID at delivery.
