Under the terms of the agreement Manchester United committed to stocking up their lounges, boxes and bars with Concha y Toro wines, as well as the club agreeing to promote the wine brand on their digital billboards during games. Aside from the obvious benefits of associating themselves with Manchester United, the Chilean wine company were said to be drawn to the Red Devils stemming from a range of issues. From United’s red shirts, to the club’s nickname and Sir Alex Ferguson’s love of wine, the two brands wseeming shared a lot of common ground.
