(BBC) - Children as young as 12 claimed they drank the equivalent of 19 glasses of wine per week when questioned for a UK-wide survey of 83,000 school pupils. Of those aged 12 or 13 questioned by the Schools Health Education Unit, 4% claimed they drank 28 units or more - more than the weekly adult guidelines. The annual review raised concerns about youngsters' eating and sleeping habits but found fewer smoking. The government says it is cracking down on those who sell alcohol to children.
