US: Wineries promised sweeter labeling approval

The federal bureau that governs wine labeling has agreed to fix delays wineries are experiencing in getting their labels approved, Sen. Charles Schumer said Tuesday.
The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, which must approve wine labels, has agreed to streamline the label-approval process that has delayed wine sales — sometimes keeping bottles of wine ready for sale off store shelves for months.
