Aftermonths of dilly-dallying, the state government has given a green signal for producing wine from beetroot. However, it has not made a decision on the request for producing alcoholic beverages from pineapple and food grains like barley, yet. Excise minister MP Renukacharya on Friday informed that the government would come out with a new policy to promote wineries.
