THE chief of US drinks giant Constellation Brands has flagged an interest in buying Treasury Wine Estates following Treasury's demerger from brewer Foster's earlier this month. Constellation chief executive Rob Sands said the company would evaluate an acquisition of Treasury if the newly independent group was for sale. "There are elements of Treasury which we think are strong, and there are elements that might not (be)," Mr Sands told Reuters."In the meantime, Treasury is not for sale."
