(PRWEB)-- Hannah Nicole Vineyards and Winery, Brentwood's first winery, today announced that The Diablo Foothills Winegrowers Association is an official 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization. Founded in February, the organization represents a collective effort between commercial winemakers, home hobbyists and local entrepreneurs. Members of the organization, The Contra Costa Winegrowers Association and other vintners recently convened at Hannah Nicole to hold their first meeting, focusing their discussions on formally establishing a unique American Viticultural Area (AVA) for a Contra Costa County appellation.
