Lion Nathan USA Inc. has purchased Sonoma’s 24-year-old MacRostie Winery and Vineyards for an undisclosed amount, the acquiring wine company said Friday. MacRostie, which specializes in “cool-climate” wines such as Sonoma Coast chardonnay and pinot noir, was founded in 1987 by Steve MacRostie. It produces about 20,000 cases per year.
