(Bloomberg) -- U.K. Health Secretary Andrew Lansley said he’s looking at ways to cut tobacco and alcohol consumption as he tries to improve public health, with the focus on the poorest people.The government will ban “below cost” sales of alcohol, Lansley told the BBC’s “Andrew Marr Show,” effectively setting a minimum price. Other options under consideration include forcing cigarettes to be sold in plain packaging.
