AUS: Tough going for grape growers
Nov 22, 2010
Recent rain and humid weather is creating tough conditions for Hunter Valley grape growers. The combination of rain and humidity can cause mould and disease to develop on the grapes.
Hunter Valley Wine Industry Association President, Geoff Krieger says above average rainfall for the region is expected to continue over the next few months. He says it is important for all producers to be prepared for the conditions to ensure a good harvest.
