It was once considered one of northern Michigan's best kept secrets, but there's more evidence that the rest of the country is beginning to catch on to northern Michigan wine. The USA Today recently named Traverse City as one of the top ten places for great local wine.Wineries we spoke with in the region say it's a testament to the dedication and hard work put into the wines.Some also say it's the location and climate that helps this region grow such great wine grapes.
