Napa Planning Commission Approves Rutherford Tasting Room Over Objections of NIMBY Neighbors

Dec 9, 2019

(WB) - The Napa County Planning Commission gave the green light to a proposed tasting room in Rutherford over the strong objections of nearby residents.

Mathew Bruno Wines plans to open the tasting room after renovating a century-old house off Rutherford Road/Highway 128. The Victorian building has most recently housed offices. The proposal before the Planning Commission last Wednesday entailed the construction of on-site parking stalls off a private road called Grape Lane, across the street from Beaulieu Vineyard, the Rutherford Grill restaurant and the 26-room Rancho Caymus Inn. No wine will be produced on site.
