Oct 29, 2019

(SFGate) - LATEST: Oct 29, 6:37 p.m.: Fire grows slightly to 76,138 acres

The Kincade Fire grew slightly over the course of Tuesday, adding just 723 acres, bringing total acreage to 76,138 acres. Containment remains at 15 percent, Cal Fire officials said at a 6:30 p.m. press conference.

"The fire has made it to the edge of the Tubbs Burn scar, which is about two years old," Assistant Chief Jonathan Cox of Cal Fire said, making note of the boundary of 2017's deadly tragedy.

Officials remain concerned with the northeast end of the fire as it threatens to spread into Lake and Napa counties.
