Lawsuit Casts Doubt on Cult Producer's Financials

(Wine-Searcher) - One of Napa's biggest names, Bryant Family Vineyards, has become embroiled in a potentially damaging court case.

One of Napa's cult wine producers is in dire financial straits according to a case filed in federal court by a financial consultant claiming $400,000 in compensation from Bryant Family Vineyards.

The winery, which produces one of California's most expensive wines, the Bryant Cabernet Sauvignon, has seen its asset value and annual income halved in the past four years, according to court filings revealed by industry news site Wine Industry Insight
