Winery owners John and Laura Bremer have agreed to pay $271,464 to partially reimburse the County for attorneys’ fees and costs, according to the judgement filed Feb. 8 in Napa County Superior Court. In addition, the Bremers, who did not admit any liability, have to pay a promissory note of $320,658. The note will be canceled once the Bremers comply with the terms of the judgment.
Napa County Superior Court Judge Cynthia Smith signed the judgment on Feb. 8 and vacated the week-long trial that was scheduled for March.
