(Winemag) - More than 7,000 exhibitors from around the globe will gather to learn the newest trends in the industry and strike business deals. 

ProWein has set records for both exhibitor and visitor numbers in recent years. This year is expected to be no different, as the 10 fully-booked halls will fill with more than 6,800 wine and 400 spirits exhibitors from across the globe.

Fairgoers can expect an extra anniversary buzz from the organizers and ProWein-themed merchandise will also be available for the first time this year.

The trade fair touts its “unparalleled scope” when it comes to wine—especially when compared to the 321 exhibitors in the show’s inaugural year, 1994.

To help visitors celebrate with ease there will be a direct bus, which was introduced last year, running from the fairground to Düsseldorf’s historic Altstadt, home to numerous breweries, bars and restaurants.
