(Wine Searcher) - It's the usual suspects for our most searched-for wines, but there's a surprise among the most-improved rankings.

It's that time of year again, when we list the top 10 most searched-for wines on Wine-Searcher.

No prizes for guessing which wines take the podium – really, no prizes. And don’t bother guessing; you know them, I know them, the world knows them and they are unlikely to change any time soon.

Top spot obviously goes to Mouton, followed by Lafite with Margaux taking third place. The rest involves the usual suspects, Petrus, Dom Pérignon, Latour, d'Yquem ... you get the picture. It's fairly safe to say that most searches for these products fall into the aspirational camp; this dream team will, for most of us, remain exactly that. However, for those lucky few with great wads of disposable cash to splash on Mouton, Margaux and air castles, we present this year's most searched for wines.
