Napa Vintners Raise More than $13 Million

(Wines&Vines) -  The 38th annual Napa Valley Vintners' (NVV) charity Auction Napa Valley raised more than $13.6 million on June 2 at Meadowood Napa Valley restort.

The top ten lots of the NVV's barrel auction, which proceeded a day before the live auction at Charles Krug winery, sold for more than $500,000 combined. The top barrel was donated by VGS Chateau Potelle Winery in St. Helena and sold for $114,300. The barrel auction featured 110 lots.

Proceeds from the barrel and live auctions are donated to a host of community service groups focused on child services and health care throughout Napa Valley.
