Apr 24, 2017

(Wines&Vines) - The Sonoma County Vintners third annual Sonoma County Barrel Auction on April 21 brought in $795,500 for the organization. More than 250 members of the wine trade bid on 90 wine lots in the live auction that raised $100,00 more than last year, according to a statement by the vintners.

The auction's unique wine lots are crafted by vintners from Sonoma County's 17 distinct AVAs, and offered in quantities of five, 10 or 20 cases. All of the wines featured were made exclusively for the auction, and will be available in the market only by resale to the winning bidder's customers.
