Gulp, The Latest Flavor In Coffee Is Actually Wine.

(Forbes) - Whether you down a quick shot of espresso at home, or suck on a quad latte for half your commute, you're one of millions who have come to rely on coffee's jolt of caffeine. Then, when work is done and you can unwind again, you head to the bar and order a glass of wine.

But hey, why not both?

Espresso with a shot of grappa has been around for a long time; Italians call it caffè corretto, "corrected coffee." The volatile grappa transports the essential aromas of the espresso straight into your nostrils, just enough to make you sit up and take notice.

And now, something else: coffee that's flavored with wine. It comes from a cafe in Napa called Molinari. They get their beans from specialty roaster John Weaver, considered one of the nation's top organic producers.

Says the Molinari website: "The full-bodied coffee beans relax in a beautiful small-batch, artisan-crafted wine, absorbing its nose and history. The coffee is then carefully dried and hand roasted in small batches."

What does it actually taste like? Well, say the professional tasters, "Rich, full-bodied, small dark fruit, blueberries."
