Uncertainty for Washington Wine Industry

(Wines&Vines) - With its latest crop in the range of 300,000 processed tons, Washington’s wine industry gathered in Kennewick this week looking to a future that could see vintners sending more wine into an unpredictable world.

Political, economic and environmental uncertainties all challenge the industry not just to keep up with growth but to ensure there is a home for the increased amount of wine produced by the state.
