(FocusFen) - Bulgarian outgoing Government approved Bulgaria’s hosting of the 40th World Congress of Vine and Wine and the 15th General Assembly of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine, which will be held in the Bulgarian capital city Sofia from May 29 until June 2, 2017, the press office of the Council of Ministers announced.

Hosting this prestigious forum will be a serious advertising of the Bulgarian wine, as well as of Bulgaria as a wine production destination.

An event of such a scale will be a great opportunity for exchange of experience and good presentation of the county as a cultural and wine tourism destination.

During the congress experts from all over the world will present their achievements, discuss scientific and technical issues, and will exchange experience and innovations. 

The World Congress of Vine and Wine will gather more than 1,000 representatives of all the 46 members of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine.
