Do You Really Need That Glass of Wine During Your Haircut?
Aug 17, 2016
(Runwayriot) - You may be familiar with having a mimosa during a blowout or a glass of wine when you’re getting a pedicure, but do you really need alcohol while you’re at a salon?
It’s a salon, not a saloon, right?
What’s the problem? Well, don’t you think you should have a license in order to serve alcohol in the first place?
There are thousands of beauty parlors and barber shops in California, and it just doesn’t seem right for them to be able to serve alcoholic beverages without a license.
And there are so many children and teens in salons and barber shops with their parents. Do you want them to be exposed to that at a young age and when they’re just getting their haircuts too? Plus, if you’re getting a haircut and downing a couple glasses of beer, who’s going to drive you (and maybe your kids) home?
