Heated red wine found to produce superconductivity
Jul 31, 2010
Aside from its health benefit, red wine apparently has other properties to be savored.
Researchers have found that a special iron compound displays superconductive qualities after it has been soaked in heated red wine and then cooled.
Similar results were discovered when the iron was soaked in beer, sake and other beverages. Red wine produced the best results. But alcohol content apparently has no bearing on the process.
