Ben & Jerry’s plan to make beer flavoured ice cream
Jun 22, 2016
(TDB) - Ice cream giants Ben & Jerry’s are set to team up with New Brewing Belgium again to release a beer flavoured product.
While customers await the release of a chocolate chip cookie dough flavour later in the year, news has broke of their intentions to come up with another boozy concoction.
New Belgium has promised to pledge $50,000 of the beer’s profits towards Protect Our Winters (POW), a non-profit organisation aiming to raise awareness of climate change.
“We are excited to be partnering once again with the good folks at Ben & Jerry’s and POW,” said New Belgium Director of Sustainability, Jenn Vervier.
“The beer in development tastes amazing and we look forward to talking about climate change and climate action.
