Make Your Own Wine at This $18.8 Million Tuscan Villa

May 12, 2016

(Bloomberg) - Aspiring wine makers and existing multimillionaires rejoice: A 90-acre estate in the Tuscan hills replete with 12 acres of vineyards and seven acres of olive groves with 3,800 olive trees is on sale for $18.8 million.

When not stomping grapes or pressing olives (or at the very least watching people do it for you), the future owners will be able to relax in a three-bedroom, four-bath, 4,300-square-foot Tuscan farmhouse, which was restored in 2014. (Alongside mechanical improvements, security-minded builders added a video surveillance system, armored steel window coverings, and something called "anti-breach glass.") The house also has a gym, office, and wet-bar.

Nearby is a mosaic pool, underneath which is a hammam, two changing rooms, a bathroom, a whirlpool bath, and a guest bedroom.

The estate contains another smaller (2,690 square foot) stone farmhouse spread across three levels; the lower floors have two bedrooms and the upper floors are split into two apartments, each with its own bathroom. On the off-chance that guests prefer to swim in solitude, this house also has its own pool. (For the real loners, the property also has a lake.)
