The commonwealth is more than doubling the money to promote Virginia's wine industry. More than $1 million will go to research and marketing.Saturday, some of Governor Bob McDonnell's top staff stopped at a Crozet vineyard to toast the funding plan. Aaron Spring says Virginia's premiere wineries are getting a reputation across the nation. Spring, Pollak Vineyards Sales Associate said, "A lot of the traffic we see in here are people from outside of Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, California. They come from all over the place to try Virginia wine."
