No spilt decision in wine suit

Jun 5, 2010

Billionaire wine collector William Koch spent nearly five hours behind closed doors yesterday with a California entrepreneur and an auctioneer he claims bamboozled him into bidding big bucks on bogus Bordeaux. The Manhattan federal court negotiating session failed to settle the case, but the Florida energy magnate later said, "We got some good discussions . . . We're looking for the guys who faked the wine."Koch sued dot-com mogul Eric Greenberg and Zachy's Wine Auctions, of Scarsdale, in 2007 after spending $340,000 on the counterfeit vintage vino.
