Job Description/Qualifications

Three Wine Company is looking for interns to join our team for harvest! We are located at the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg, CA, just South of Sacramento. You will gain valuable, hands-on experience as you help us produce great wine!

Tasks will include crushing, pump-overs, pressing, sanitizing tanks and equipment, additions, inoculations, and barrel work.

Winery experience preferred, but not necessary.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to work long days and weekends.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to climb a ladder, sit, and stand for long periods.
Must have a positive attitude (a good sense of humor is also a plus)
Experience preferred but not required
Schedule may vary, but interns typically work 5 or 6 days per week, including weekends.

Winemaker Matt Cline’s philosophy is that: the dirt, the micro-climate, and sustainable winegrowing (from vineyard to bottle) form the cornerstone of good winemaking and is in every bottle “three” produces.

At three we produce several red and white varietals including Zinfandel, Carignane, and Mataro from the Oakley area of Contra Costa County. Many of our vineyards are 70 to 120 years old and are dry farmed.
