ITALY OVERTAKES FRANCE TO BECOME BIGGEST WINE PRODUCER

(AGI) Rome - On the results of the last harvest, Italy has now overtaken France to become the world's largest wine producer. The agricultural association, Coldiretti, announced this milestone, quoting European Commission which shows Italian production at 49.6 million hectolitres against France's 46.2 million hectolitres. . .
