Tobacco Money Funds Vineyard Expansions

Jan 22, 2017

(Wines&Vines) - The number of wineries in Virginia has more than doubled from 119 a decade ago to 269 today, according to Wines Vines Analytics and the Virginia Farm Bureau. As the number of wineries has increased, so has the demand for locally grown grapes—but the number of new vineyards hasn’t kept up.
